This contemplative and peaceful work is the first symphonic setting of The Latin Mass by an Irish composer. The Latin Mass evokes a universality transcending time and place. In the language of classical antiquity, it remains today the cornerstone of our civilisation and culture. 

The London Symphony Orchestrais conducted by Ben Parrywho also directs The London Voices. Featured soloists include mezzo-soprano Vivica Genaux, tenor Matthew Longand organist Roderick Elms.

The soundtrack to Hannibal features Patrick's aria "Vide Cor Meum". This mini-opera, specially composed for the movie, was chosen to be performed at the Oscar's in 2002. It was also performed at the 53rd annual Emmy
Awards. 

Deirdre of the Sorrows was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra and released in April, 1998. With this recording, Patrick revisits The Annals of Ulster to interpret the tale of Deirdre. 

Famine Remembrance was commissioned by The Irish Echo Newspaper and The Wild Geese, Inc. to commemorate the 150th. anniversary of the Great Hunger in Ireland. It received its World premiere on March 10, 1996 at St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York.. ''Its mood is somber, it’s orchestration sweepingly cinematic, its melodies irresistible''. 

The Children of Lir, an oratorio with libretto in the Irish language, is Patrick's first important work. It was composed in 1990-91 and first performed at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. It was recorded with the renowned Tallis Choir and London Symphony Orchestra in Abbey Road studios and released in 1993. 

Cruit, which means "harp" in Irish, is Patrick's debut CD on Gael Linn. It was released in 1990, and contains Patrick's settings of traditional Irish melodies by Turlough O Carolan, the last of the Irish bardic harpers. In keeping with the knowledge that Carolan was influenced by the classical composers whose music he heard in the great houses of Ireland, Patrick scored his arrangements for a baroque chamber ensemble of stringed instruments, oboes, and Irish harp. Himself an accomplished harper, Patrick leads the Cruit ensemble playing the harp.
